I see them after the rush hour, even as early as 18.00 tonight Sauchiehall Street was deserted from Charing Cross Westwards after being jammed solid at 17.00 <br /><br />I think my visual image will need to be a moving one - two trips along the premier cycle route from Kelvingrove Museum to the velodrome. one religiously observing every traffic signal and daft diversion - waiting for eons for the detection system to deign to work, perhaps riding Danny McCaskill- style over the cars blocking the cycle route outside the Gaelic School, on Howard Street etc, and the pragmatic ride, treating ridiculous use of traffic signals where a give way would suffice (and actually eliminate the added delay to motor traffic) as give way, and properly exploit the advantage of cycling - reliable and reduced journey times.
